Add an external course to a bundle
Not every course happens on this platform. An Other Course lets you track training that happens elsewhere — a first-aid class, a licence renewal — by having participants upload a certificate or provide a signature as proof, right inside the same bundle as everything else.
BEFORE YOU START
Other Courses is a per-admin feature, the same way Attendance is — if New Other Course isn't visible, it hasn't been switched on for your account. You'll also need a client to attach the course to, same as with a regular course.
Create the Other Course
Open Other Courses in the sidebar, then choose New Other Course.
Fill in Title, an optional URL — where participants go to actually take the course — and a Description. Choose the Language and the Client it belongs to.
Set Proof Type — Certificate if a participant uploads a document, Signature if they instead sign to confirm — and, optionally, Expires after (days).
Choose Create.
Expires after (days) matters once you start approving uploads: when an admin approves one, its expiry is set to the approval date plus this many days. Leave it empty if the proof never expires.
Add it to a bundle
Open the bundle's Courses in Bundle tab. The course picker groups options under Internal {Language} Courses and External {Language} Courses — pick the Other Course from the external group. It only appears if its Client and Language match the bundle's client and the language section you're adding it to.
Set it to Required or Optional, exactly as with an internal course, then choose Add to Bundle.
Review what participants submit
Inside the bundle dashboard, participants see the Other Course's own page — an Open link to the external URL, and an area to upload their certificate or provide a signature. Every submission lands in Certificate Review for you to approve or reject; approving is what starts the expiry clock if one is configured.
GOOD TO KNOW
An Other Course counts toward a bundle exactly like an internal one does. An approved, not-yet-expired submission marks it done on the bundle's Results page, and toward a bundle certificate if the Other Course is Required.
A COMMON MISTAKE
Looking for the Other Course in the wrong language section and assuming it's missing. The picker filters strictly by language, so check the Other Course's own Language field on its edit page rather than the bundle.
If something isn't working
What next
Uploaded proofs need reviewing before they count, and it's worth knowing how a bundle's own Results page reports them.
